About The Role: We’re looking for a commercially driven, solutions‑focused Account Director to join the growing Account Management team at Platform Media. As an Account Director, you will lead day‑to‑day communication across a portfolio of clients, acting as the crucial link between internal departments and external stakeholders. You will ensure projects run smoothly, deliver against objectives, and meet the highest standards of client service, media, marketing, and production delivery. You’ll be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, delivering contracted services, and identifying opportunities for organic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Leadership and Relationship Management: Own a portfolio of key clients, building trusted and productive relationships. Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism at all times. Translate client needs into actionable plans for internal teams. Maintain the quality and consistency of services delivered across your accounts. Lead regular meetings, updates, and presentations.
  • Commercial Growth and Account Development: Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships to relay to the commercial partnerships team. Support the creation of scopes of work, budgets, and timelines. Ensure projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
  • Project Oversight and Delivery: Provide oversight across multiple live projects. Work closely with production, media, channel management, and commercial teams to ensure seamless execution. Monitor timelines, resources, and outputs, intervening early to resolve issues. Ensure delivery aligns with client objectives and KPIs.
  • Performance, Reporting and Insight: Ensure measurement frameworks are in place across campaigns. Oversee reporting outputs and ensure they clearly demonstrate success and ROI. Use data and results to inform future planning and recommendations.
  • Strategy and Collaboration: Contribute to the strategic direction of accounts and wider business initiatives. Collaborate cross‑functionally to improve ways of working and enhance the client experience. Act as a strong internal voice for your clients and the timelines while balancing business priorities.
  • Team Support: Support and mentor Account Managers and Executives. Provide guidance, feedback, and knowledge sharing to strengthen the team. Help foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
