About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded, strategic Account Director to lead one of Platform Media's key client partnerships.

You’ll own the strategic direction, commercial performance and day-to-day management of the account, leading integrated campaigns from brief through to delivery.

Working closely with teams across Media, Production, Commercial, Social and Marketing, you’ll deliver outstanding client service, identify growth opportunities and ensure campaigns achieve measurable results.

This role leads Platform Media's largest client campaign – an international Action Sports and Casino brand working with some of the biggest names in talent across Australia and the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusted senior client relationships.
  • Own all client communications, including status calls, campaign documentation and PCAs — building and maintaining project tracking documentation covering content, deliverables and status, as the single source of truth that streamlines internal and external communications.
  • Provide strategic recommendations grounded in a clear understanding of the client's business goals, with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting processes in place to evidence delivery against them.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen and grow client partnerships.
  • Commercial & Account Growth
  • Own account budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
  • Drive account growth through upselling, renewals and new opportunities alongside the Commercial team.
  • Lead the development of proposals and Statements of Work.
  • Support the development of client, talent and supplier agreements, working closely with Commercial and Legal teams to ensure contracts are commercially sound and efficiently progressed.
  • Campaign Delivery
  • Lead integrated campaigns from brief through to reporting.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
  • Manage multiple workstreams, proactively identifying risks and ensuring agreed KPIs are achieved.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for talent during campaign delivery, ensuring a seamless experience and acting as the key point of contact throughout production where required.
  • Develop integrated campaign strategies alongside Media, Production, Commercial, Social and Marketing teams.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of paid media, confidently collaborating with specialists to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Analyse campaign performance and use insights to optimise future activity.
  • Alongside media & social specialists implement a clear reporting & measurement framework.
  • Champion innovation and continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Leadership
  • Lead by example, promoting high standards of client service and collaboration.
  • Coach and support members of the Account Management team.
  • Drive improvements to processes, ways of working and cross-functional collaboration.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience managing complex client accounts within a media, production or agency environment.
  • Experience in supporting commercial contracting processes, including Statements of Work, client agreements, talent or supplier contracts.
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-to-end production campaigns with a strong understanding of production workflows.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, forecasting and driving account growth.
  • Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • A strong understanding of paid media and how it integrates into wider campaign strategies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A basic understanding of the action sports industry and its audiences, alongside a good understanding of the gambling, betting or poker landscape, is essential.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • What's On Offer
  • 26 days annual leave , with the option to purchase up to

5 additional days each year.

Hybrid working with flexible hours.

Private medical insurance and a healthcare cash plan .

Company pension scheme .

Mental health support through our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
