Role Overview
We are seeking candidates for a Platform Cricket Hub Supervisor position who will play a lead role in driving the Platform Cricket programme in the next phase of its growth. The role is ideal for individuals who are skilled and enthusiastic cricket coaches, but who want to combine face‑to‑face delivery with management and developmental responsibilities. The new post-holder will join a management team that will collectively oversee Platform Cricket’s strategic development, but will be individually responsible for operational delivery, impact, and partnerships in and around a portfolio of Hubs in a defined region of London.
Responsibilities
- Drive the Platform Cricket programme in the next phase of its growth.
- Provide operational delivery, impact, and partnerships for a portfolio of hubs.
- Represent schools, parents, and community partners.
- Supervise other coaches.
- Support staff with governance and management.
- Maintain safe practice, risk management, and pastoral care.

- An ability to work on an outcome‑based project, thinking critically, strategically and innovatively in order to be successful

Additionally, our community‑based activities involve direct and autonomous responsibility for participants which requires post‑holders to demonstrate good judgement, safe practice, sound risk management, and pastoral care. We welcome approaches from candidates who are interested in taking on one of our hub Supervisor roles through an agreement which allows them to maintain their self‑employed status. Platform Cricket is committed to the safeguarding of young people and as such all successful applicants will be expected to either hold or undergo an Enhanced DBS Check.
