Are you passionate about making a difference and improving our Neighbourhoods? Our Neighbourhood Officers are at the heart of what we do as an organisation. We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Worcester.

Responsibilities

  • Visit customers, provide advice, review tenancies and identify any problems.
  • Inspect estates regularly, raise, report and monitor health and safety or safeguarding concerns to a successful conclusion.
  • Develop strong relationships within local communities and collaborate with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
  • Manage and investigate tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns.
  • Undertake new tenancy sign-ups and accompany viewings for new homes.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in the social housing sector, particularly with a background in tenancy management, anti-social behaviour and safeguarding.
  • Experience working closely with customers to tackle complex issues.
  • Proactive, organized and able to prioritise time to meet timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach, understanding the importance of delivering a high standard of service.
  • Willingness to travel; driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of travel is essential.
  • Ideally based in Worcestershire or within an easily commutable distance.
  • Basic DBS check required.
