We're currently looking for a Data Product Analyst to join our brilliant IT team on a two-year fixed term contract, to lead the design, development, and implementation of data products that deliver actionable insights, enabling the organisation to make informed decisions.
As our Data Product Analyst you'll work across the full lifecycle of data product development, from initial requirements gathering and design through to delivery and support.
Operating within an Agile environment, they will adopt an iterative approach, ensuring continuous improvement and timely delivery of high‑quality solutions.
This role is critical in advancing the use of cutting‑edge data platforms such as Power BI, Synapse, and Fabric, leveraging modern development languages including DAX, SQL, and Python, while fostering a data-driven culture across the organisation.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in a data quality, data analysis, or data governance role, ideally within a complex or regulated environment, experience within social housing is preferable.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data products using Power BI, Synapse, and DAX.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, ETL processes, and data governance principles.
- Be able to identify issues and risks within BI development activities, troubleshooting, resolving and escalating where appropriate.
- Strong ability to extract, manipulate, visualize, and model large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to lead analytics projects and influence decision‑making at a level.
- Experience with consumer‑level data for the purposes of analysis, reporting, or marketing
- Demonstrated experience in the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualisations for the effective communication of insights and findings to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, enabling the analyst to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels and clearly convey complex concepts.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques and Python is desirable
Whilst this role is predominantly home‑based, there will be regular travel to Group offices and other locations, including Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester, so flexibility will be required.
