Are you passionate about making a difference and improving our Neighbourhoods? Our Neighbourhood Officers are at the heart of what we do as an organisation. We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Skegness and the wider East Lindsey, Lincolnshire area.

Responsibilities

  • Visit customers and provide advice, review tenancies, and identify any problems.
  • Inspect estates, raising, reporting and monitoring health and safety or safeguarding concerns.
  • Develop strong relationships within local communities and collaborate with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
  • Manage and investigate tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns.
  • Undertake new tenancy sign-ups and accompanied viewings for new homes.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in the social housing sector, dealing with tenancy management, ASB and safeguarding.
  • Proactive approach, organised and ability to prioritise time to meet timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer focused approach.
  • Regular travel, driving licence and use of own vehicle or alternative means of travel essential.
  • Basic DBS check required. Disability Confident employer.
