Are you passionate about making a difference and improving our Neighbourhoods? Our Neighbourhood Officers are at the heart of what we do as an organisation. We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Skegness and the wider East Lindsey, Lincolnshire area.
Responsibilities
- Visit customers and provide advice, review tenancies, and identify any problems.
- Inspect estates, raising, reporting and monitoring health and safety or safeguarding concerns.
- Develop strong relationships within local communities and collaborate with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
- Manage and investigate tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns.
- Undertake new tenancy sign-ups and accompanied viewings for new homes.
Qualifications
- Experience working in the social housing sector, dealing with tenancy management, ASB and safeguarding.
- Proactive approach, organised and ability to prioritise time to meet timeframes.
- Excellent communication skills and customer focused approach.
- Regular travel, driving licence and use of own vehicle or alternative means of travel essential.
- Basic DBS check required. Disability Confident employer.
