We’re currently looking for an experienced Repairs Surveyor to join our Complex Repairs team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for the collection of information relating to Platform assets through the process of repairs and damp, mould & condensation surveys (DCM). You’ll play a key role in surveying Platform assets, gathering crucial information to keep our databases up to date, supporting business planning, and shaping future programmes of work. You’ll update damp and mould registers and manage our asset data, working collaboratively with the team to drive continuous improvements in efficiency, standards, and performance. Customer communication is at the heart of this role, you’ll keep customers informed every step of the way. You’ll also use systems to raise work orders and process contractor payments.

Some things we are looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role of undertaking damp and mould, complex works, compliance and other construction related surveys.
  • Have a good technical ability and be able to provide technical advice on a wide range of construction, maintenance and repair issues.
  • Have a sound understanding of construction to deliver a broad range of property related activities.
  • Be prepared to complete training courses to undertake the core tasks and objectives of the role.
  • ONC or equivalent qualification in Building/Construction is desirable.

This is a home-based position that involves occasional visits to office locations, as well as frequent travel across a locality, primarily to properties in Louth, Skegness and the surrounding Lincolnshire areas. Candidates should be locally based and able to travel as needed.
