Platform Property Care is looking for an experienced Multi‑Skill Trades Carpenter based in Newark and the surrounding areas of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire to join our Repairs & Maintenance team. The role involves maintaining and improving homes, ensuring customers receive high‑standard repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- You will perform carpentry work with a primary focus on Multi‑Trade repairs and maintenance.
- The role is varied; no two days will be the same, and you will work with a wide range of customers across private and social housing.
- Deliver work to a high standard, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely, and that customer expectations are met.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 Carpentry.
- Experience as a carpenter or multi‑skilled carpenter in the building trade.
- Experience working for a social landlord, housing association or council.
- Associated trade skills in plumbing, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling.
- Experience delivering multi‑trade work and keeping jobs on track.
- Strong organisational skills and a drive to complete work quickly and efficiently.
- Good IT skills – experience with a PDA, Microsoft and Outlook email.
- Full, current, valid driving licence – this is a mobile role.
- DBS check required.
Additional Information
- You may be required to work on the out‑of‑hours rota to provide additional services.
- The team is based in Newark, covering Newark predominantly but also South West Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire; you should live close to or in these areas.
