Job Overview
Have you got the right tools for the job? Calling all experienced Multi Skill Trades Painter and Decorators – can you give our homes the perfect finish? We are looking for an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our talented and busy Void team and help refurbish our homes in Gloucester and the surrounding area.
What you will be doing
Putting the finishing touch to our Voids you will be an important part of a busy team delivering voids to the lettable standard in this area. With a passion for detail, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative.
Requirements
- You will have served an apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating or obtained an equivalent City & Guilds qualification
- Extensive time served in Painting and Decorating. If you also have associated trade skills this is a bonus but not essential.
- Good organisational skills
- Experience of keeping jobs on track
- Takes ownership, responsibility for their tasks and has a right first‑time approach
- Works well alone but also as part of a team
- The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently whilst meeting strict deadlines
- Full current valid driving licence essential as this is a mobile role
- As you will be working in customers\’ homes you will need a DBS check.
- This role is in a team based covering our Void properties in the GL postcode area so you would need to be living in Gloucester and the surrounding area. The team also supports works in Herefordshire so occasionally there would be need for work there too.
