Platform Property Care is seeking an experienced Multi Skill Trades Plumber based in Central and Northwest Leicestershire to join our Repairs and Maintenance team. The role focuses on plumbing with experience in other trades essential, delivering multi-trade refurbishment in repairs and voids environments, including full kitchen installations.

Responsibilities:

  • Multi-skill operative, focus on plumbing but also deliver multi-trade refurbishment, including full kitchen installations
  • Work in customers’ homes, ensuring high standards of maintenance and refurbishment
  • Deliver work right the first time and keep jobs on track
  • Operate within a repairs and voids environment
  • Use provided PDA and IT systems for scheduling and communication

Requirements:

  • NVQ L2 Plumbing essential
  • Experience as a Plumber in the building trade, either as a Plumber or multi-skilled Plumber at a high standard
  • Preferably qualified as a Carpenter or with experience delivering carpentry work at a high standard
  • Experience delivering multi-trade repairs and maintenance for Social Landlord, housing association or council
  • Associated trade skills or qualifications in plaster patching, decorating, wall tiling, and aquaboard installation desirable
  • Good organisational skills and ability to keep jobs on track
  • Drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently
  • Good IT skills, experienced with PDA, Microsoft Outlook
  • Full current valid driving licence (essential for mobile role)
  • Requires DBS check as work involves customers’ homes

  • Opportunity to earn additional pay from on-out-of-hours rota (required)
