Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an Approved Electrician to join our repairs and maintenance team in a mobile role covering work in Market Harborough and the surrounding areas. You will be joining a talented team carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties. You will thrive on giving great customer service and keeping jobs on track and have the drive to make sure the work is completed to spec. You will have a right first-time mentality ensuring the Customer is at the centre of everything you do. The role is varied, and no two days are the same! It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you'll have the support of a great team.
Benefits
- Basic salary of £40,862 per annum for an Approved Electrician or £38,296 per annum for an Electrician (additional can be earned from voluntary overtime and out of hours)

- You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills.

Ideal qualifications
- Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification
- AM2
- City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection
- 18th Edition regulation
Requirements
- Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
- Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
- Experience of delivering responsive repairs
- Strong customer service skills
- Full current valid driving Licence (essential as this is a mobile role)
- As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.
- This role will require working on the out-of-hours rota which includes availability over 7 days including working Saturdays and Sundays.
- This role is for a team covering Market Harborough and the surrounding area so you will need to live here.
- This role is mobile, so it is essential you have a current valid driving licence. Unfortunately, we cannot progress applications from applicants who do not hold this.
