We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Lettings team as an Administrator. This role is high paced and well suited to someone who can think on their feet and handle a changing workflow.
What could you be doing?
- As an Administrator for the Lettings team, you will prepare tenancy paperwork for new customers and effectively manage the Lettings inbox.
- You will ensure that all invoices are coded correctly with council tax exemptions being applied.
- You will also need to make sure all the new tenancy documentation is up to date and that our new tenants understand the process and timeline.
- You will support the team in obtaining supporting documentation in respect of housing applications.
- Whilst this is a home-based role, the Administrator will occasionally be required to travel to our Worcester or Solihull offices for team meetings.
- During the induction process, office working may be required more due to training requirements, however this will be discussed with your line manager.
What are some things that we need from you?
- Previous experience within social housing, lettings or voids management would be advantageous, however we will also consider anyone with administration experience from a similar background.
- You will have great communication skills and the ability to use appropriate communication style depending on the needs of the audience.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount to your success within the role.
- This role is high paced and therefore we are looking for someone with proven experience of maintaining high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- As this is a fast-paced role you will need to have the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Due to the requirement for some office-based working, we would require candidates to be based near to our Worcester or Birmingham Business Park office.
- The role will require a basic DBS check.
