Calling all Roofers in Leicester and the surrounding area! We're looking for experienced and multi-skilled Roofers to join our successful Responsive Repairs team covering Central and Northwest Leicestershire.
What could you be doing? Responsible for the maintenance and repair of our properties, you'll be completing patch repair work and refurbishments. You will be able to install and replace roofs, and be competent to deliver the following:
- Tile and slate
- Felting roofs
- Flat roofs
- Ridge and hip tiles
- Chimneys
- Flashing
- Pointing
- Rainwater gutters and down pipes
We want somebody who can: A team player, you'll be hard-working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Significant roofing experience.
- Time served or a roofing qualification will be a benefit.
- Self-motivated.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Experience of working for a social landlord, housing association or council.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Full current valid driving licence, essential as this is a mobile role.
- DBS check required for working in customers' homes.
Benefits: Opportunity to earn additional pay from being on the out-of-hours rota as required. The role is based in Central and Northwest Leicestershire; you will need to live in this area.
