Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Plasterer to join our successful repairs and maintenance team and help us maintain and improve our homes in Leicester and the surrounding Central and Northwest areas. You will be a Multi Skill Trades Plasterer and plastering will be your focus, but experience in other trades is an advantage. The role is varied. No two days will be the same and you will meet a wide range of customers along the way. It is a tough task and our expectations are high. In return, you'll have the support of a great team.

We want somebody who is a team player, hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude. You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills. You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.
Some things we need from you:
- Significant plastering experience and at least an NVQ Level 2 in this trade
- Self-motivated
- Customer focused delivering work right first time
- Experience in delivering multi-trade work
- Experience in damp and mould treatment and repairs to walls and ceilings
- Experience installing architraves, skirting and stud walling, block, and brick work
- Desirable experience in wall tiling and installing aqua paneling/boarding
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- A full driving licence; a DBS check is required as the role involves working in customers' homes
There is also the opportunity to earn additional when on the out of hours rota as required. This role is for a team based in the following towns, so you will need to live close to or in these areas: Leicester, Central Leicestershire and Northwest Leicestershire.
