Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an experienced Labourer to join our multi-skilled trades team to help us deliver high quality repairs, maintenance and refurbishment services.
We want somebody who can:
- A team player, you’ll be hard working and keen to learn with a can-do attitude.
- You’ll be working in people’s homes, so you’ll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication and customer service skills.
- You’ll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering work right first time.
- You will have a passion for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative.
We want somebody who has:
- Experience in Social Housing maintenance
- Understanding and experience of providing property maintenance and repairs to an excellent standard
- Multi-trades skills – a basic knowledge of external trades including roofing, slabbing, pointing and fencing would be advantageous
- Sound labouring experience in the building industry
- Experience of working in customers’ homes
- Team skills but can work independently at times too
- Full current valid driving licence (essential as this is a mobile role)
- Plus, as you will be working in customers’ homes, a DBS check is needed
*Advertised salary of up to £26,000, made up of your base salary of £26,000 per annum and an additional payment of £ per annum.*
