Are you an experienced Data Protection professional that can help us make a difference? We are currently looking for an Information Governance Business Partner to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a part-time opportunity, working 28 hours per week across four days, with a part-time salary from £29,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on your experience. We’re flexible on your preferred working days, which can be discussed during the interview.

This is a key role to support the Governance and Assurance team to ensure the Group’s data and information is managed securely and compliantly. As a trusted business partner and critical friend, you will work closely with teams across the Group to take a preventative approach and be pivotal in delivering a proactive programme of information governance projects, audits, and tasks.

Some of the things we are looking for:

  • A Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection or Freedom of Information and/or around 3 years experience in an information governance role.
  • Proven experience of managing corporate relationships and working collaboratively across teams.
  • Proven experience of responding to customer’s Data Rights.
  • Experience of supporting data protection impact assessments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

While this role is home-based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices approximately one day per week.
