We're looking for experienced and multi skilled Roofers to join our successful Responsive Repairs team covering Horncastle and the surrounding area.
What could you be doing?
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of our properties, you'll be completing patch repair work and refurbishments.
- You will be able to install and replace roofs, and be competent to deliver:
- Tile and slate
- Felting roofs
- Flat roofs
- Ridge and hip tiles
- Chimneys
- Flashing
- Pointing
- Rainwater gutters and down pipes
We want somebody who can
A team player, you'll be hard working and keen to learn with a can‑do attitude.
You'll be working in people's homes, so you'll need to be friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
You'll also need to be organised and recognise the importance of delivering good customer service.
Some things we need from you
- You'll have significant roofing experience
- Time served or a roofing qualification will be a benefit
- Be self – motivated
- Willing to learn new skills
- You must be able to work alone, and as part of a team
- Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
- Strong customer service skills
- Full current validdriving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role
- As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check.
- There is also the opportunity to earn additional from being on the out of hours rota as required.
This role is for a team based in Alford, Coningsby, Frithville, Horncastle, Hagworthingham, Huttoft, Kirkby on Bain, Langrick, Mablethorpe, New York, South Ormsby, Stixwould, Sutton-on-Sea, Theddlethorpe, Toynton, Tumby, Washingborough, Willoughby, Woodhall Spa so you will need to live in this area.
