Position Overview
Platform Property Care is looking for an experienced Multi Skill Trades Carpenter based in Hereford and Leominster and surrounding area to join our Repairs & Maintenance team. As a Multi Skill Trades Carpenter your focus will be carpentry, with experience in other trades being an advantage. The role is varied and involves working in people’s homes, providing high-standard home maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality carpentry and other multi-trade work on scheduled job visits in customers’ homes.
- Complete work efficiently, ensuring tasks are finished to specification and on time.
- Maintain accurate job records, track progress and ensure high standards of customer service.
Benefits
- Basic salary of £33,742 per annum plus opportunity to earn more from out of hours and voluntary overtime.

Qualifications
- NVQ L2 Carpentry.
- Experience of working as a Carpenter in the building trade either as a Carpenter or as a multi-skilled Carpenter.
- Experience of working for a Social Landlord, housing association or council.
- Associated trade skills of basic plumbing, plaster patching, decorating and wall tiling desirable.
- Experience of delivering multi-trade work.
- Good organisational skills.
- Experience of keeping jobs on track.
- The drive to ensure works are completed quickly and efficiently.
- Good IT skills. Experienced using a PDA. Experience of using Microsoft and Outlook email.
- Full current valid driving licence essential as this is a mobile role.
- Requires a DBS check for work within customers’ homes.
- Must live in Hereford or Leominster area.
