Can you help make a real difference to our homes and communities? We are looking for an experienced and innovative Head of Sustainability (Corporate) to join our team and drive our long-term corporate sustainability goals while ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations, stakeholder needs, and customer values.

As one of two Heads of Service within the Senior Sustainability leadership team, you will play a central role in embedding sustainability across all areas of Platforms operations and driving progress towards achieving positive sustainability outcomes. You will have a particular focus on biodiversity, climate resilience, EMS management, and the circular economy. Working cross-functionally to develop and embed sustainable practices across our operations, build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and lead initiatives that support decarbonisation, biodiversity enhancement, resource efficiency, and climate risk mitigation/adaptation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Sustainability team and help shape the evolution and successful delivery of our sustainability strategy.

What we’re looking for:

  • Deep expertise and experience in managing sustainability within a large organisation
  • Proven track record in delivering demonstrable results against sustainability targets
  • Experience in developing and maintaining sustainability-related policies, processes, and procedures, and operating an effective Environmental Management System
  • Experience in shaping a direction for action in relation to biodiversity, including biodiversity net gain and achieving positive outcomes from natural capital
  • Experience in developing and implementing sustainability projects and initiatives

While this role is home-based, you should be able to travel to our Group offices and other locations as needed, approximately once or twice a month. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park in Solihull and Central Park in Worcester.
