We have a great opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer to join our Localities team providing a comprehensive housing management service, working with communities and neighbourhoods around Herefordshire.
A large part of your role will be based in Bromyard, however you will also be required to visit customers based in your patch across Herefordshire and parts of Worcestershire. You will be someone who takes a hands-on approach, helping customers to manage their tenancies and improve our neighbourhoods for everyone. Most of the time you will be out and about in your patch, working closely with customers to promote sustainable tenancies and developing strong relationships with local communities.
What could you be doing as one of our Neighbourhood Officers?

- You will be regularly inspecting our estates, raising, reporting and monitoring to a successful conclusion any health and safety or safeguarding concerns.
- You will also be responsible for playing a key role in developing strong relationships within local communities, working collaboratively with other agencies and Platform colleagues.
- Other key responsibilities include managing and investigating tenancy issues such as anti-social behaviour, condition of property, fly tipping or safeguarding concerns.
- You will also undertake new tenancy sign-ups and accompanied viewings for new homes.
What are some things that we need from you?

- This will be a role well suited to someone with experience of working closely with customers to tackle complex issues.
- You will be proactive in your approach, organised and have the ability to prioritise your time to meet timeframes.
- You will have excellent communication skills and a customer focused approach, understanding the importance of delivering a high standard of service.
- This role involves regular travel. A driving licence and use of your own vehicle or alternative means of getting to the required locations is essential.
- Due to the travel required around the patch, the candidate will ideally be based in Herefordshire, Malvern or South Worcester.
- This role will require a basic DBS check.
