Platform Property Care are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our established Mobile Caretaking team as aCommunity Caretaker, delivering day to day caretaking service and cleaning of our estates, blocks and schemes in Birmingham and Solihull.

What could you be doing?

You will carry out a range of activities to ensure our properties and the surrounding areas remain clean, tidy, safe, secure and in good condition. You will be helping to make our communal properties great places to live.

Day to day tasks will include keeping communal areas clean and hazard free, leaf clearance, weed spraying, litter picking, removing graffiti to maintenance and minor repairs and dealing with fly tipping.

This is a mobile role, covering our sites in Birmingham and Solihull so you would need to be based locally. There would also be a need to travel to our different sites throughout the area as required so a driving licence is essential. Access to a company van is provided so there is no need to use your own vehicle during the working day.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week Monday – Friday with core hours of 7:30- 16:00 with no weekend working.

We want somebody who has:

· A positive outlook with a flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work as part of a team

· You will need a keeneye for detail and be committed to achieving high standards

· Ideally you will have experience of working in a customer-focused environment undertaking cleaning and caretaking duties

· Good IT skills as you will be using an iPad to access a portal to log all required repairs and completion of health and safety checks

· Full current validdriving Licenceessential as this is a mobile role

· This role also requires a Basic DBS check.

This role is for a team covering Birmingham and Solihull so you would need to live here.
