Platform Property Care has a great opportunity for an Approved Electrician to join our repairs and maintenance team in a mobile role covering work in Boston Lincolnshire and the surrounding areas. You’ll be joining a talented team carrying out remedial work, general maintenance, and repairs across our properties. You will thrive on giving great customer service and keeping jobs on track and have the drive to make sure the work is completed to spec. You will have a right first‑time mentality ensuring the Customer is at the centre of everything you do. The role is varied, and no two days are the same! It's a tough task and our expectations are high. In return you'll have the support of a great team!
Working for Platform Property Care you will benefit from:
- Basic salary of £40,862 per annum for an Approved Electrician (additional can be earned from voluntary overtime and out of hours)

We want somebody who can:
- Be a team player, hard working and keen to learn with a can‑do attitude.

Ideally you will have:
- Served an apprenticeship in Electrical or obtained an equivalent NVQ L3 & City & Guilds L3 in Electrical installation, commissioning, and certification
- AM2 City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent in testing and inspection
- 18th Edition regulation
We are looking for someone who has:
- Sound experience in delivering a range of electrical work and services in a domestic setting
- Experience of working for a social Landlord, Housing Association or Council.
- Experience of delivering responsive repairs
- Full current valid driving Licence essential as this is a mobile role
As you will be working within Customer's homes this role requires a DBS check. This role will require working on the out of hours rota which includes availability over 7 days including working Saturdays and Sundays. This role is for a team covering Boston, Wainfleet and Wisbech and the surrounding area so you will need to live here.
