Overview
Linden House is a crisis support house comprising a 4-bed residence in Whitchurch, Cardiff that offers a short-term therapeutic alternative to hospital for people experiencing a crisis in their mental health. We provide a safe and homely environment that is responsive to people’s needs and alleviates distress. Linden House offers a space for individuals to connect with others, take time out and be heard. We are looking for a Case Worker to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Work alongside people to understand what may be contributing to their distress and take steps to make changes for when they return home.
- Provide emotional support to people experiencing distress and offer a safe space where they can talk through what has happened.
- Offer practical support to address issues contributing to the person’s distress and help them make plans for how they can improve their situation to prevent future crises.
