Role: Support Quality Systems Development for Europe and the Deployment of Global Quality initiatives and SOPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Development and Support
- Provide BU teams with support for Quality performance improvement, and troubleshooting.
- Provide a proactive review of quality planning and specifications for new processes/machines/products in order that potential problems are eliminated or minimized.
- Provide BU teams with support for Q-Auto and SAP QM.
- Complete corporate audits for all European sites.
- Provide direct support to the BU’s with key customer audits to ensure consistency across locations.
- Complete audits of material & equipment suppliers, to highlight risk & promote improvement.
- Support to all BU locations to ensure compliance and certification for ISO 9001 & BRC / IOP, ISO 22000.
- Work with Central Procurement Team to ensure that effective systems are in place to track the performance of key suppliers into the Business.
- Work with Central Procurement team for the approval of new supplier (specification, quality and food safety system).
The successful applicant will have a good understanding of Plastic/Polymer materials, additives and colorants, along with injection, blowing, extrusion and recycling processes.
Education, work experience, skills and competencies required:
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- Knowledge of English – Advanced Knowledge
- Team player
- Communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Technical skills:
- Quality Mgmt. standards (ISO 9000:2015, BRC) – Basic Knowledge
- Risk Management (FMEA, HACCP) – Basic Knowledge
- Other Quality Mgmt. techniques (process flowchart, Ishikawa diagram, Pareto diagram, internal audits) – Average Knowledge
- Project Management – Basic Knowledge
- Equipment calibration – Basic Knowledge
Location for the role is flexible and, therefore the candidate is not required to relocate, however, business travel will be expected.
