Whiteline Express is growing! We have excellent opportunities for Diesel Mechanics to join our Plymouth, MI team. Location: Plymouth, MI
Pay: $25/hr & up, depending on experience

What You’ll be doing as a Diesel Mechanic:
- Keep our fleet of Class A trucks and trailers operating in top shape. You’ll perform important preventative maintenance tasks, including removing, cleaning, repairing, reinstalling, and adjusting truck and trailer components.
- You’ll diagnose mechanical problems, complete repairs, and, if needed, rebuild equipment for anything from brakes, transmissions, rear-ends, clutches, electrical components to diesel engines and more.
- Safety is our priority, and you’ll evaluate completed work and conduct final inspection of equipment prior to release to ensure compliance with federal and state code regulations and our company safety standards.
- Make service calls offsite, as needed.
- You’ll work Monday-Friday, with a start time anywhere between 5:00 am – 6:00 am, and wrap up the day between 4:00 pm & 5:30 pm, based on your start time. Based on your schedule, you may be opening and closing the maintenance garage.
Diesel Mechanic Required Qualifications:
- Class A CDL required
- Experience working on diesel equipment, at least 1 year
- Basic welding skills (Mig, Oxy/Acl) for welding/fabricating bodywork and parts
