Role Description
The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role at Plastim Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Gloucester. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision plastic components according to technical drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting appropriate tooling, adjusting machine settings, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring efficient machine operation. The role also involves inspecting finished parts, documenting measurements, and collaborating with the quality team to maintain tight tolerances and consistent product standards. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineering and production colleagues to resolve machining issues, optimize processes, and support timely delivery to customers across multiple industries.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling, including safe setup, adjustment, and monitoring of CNC equipment.
