We work closely with our clients and distributors to create custom solutions that improve safety, health, comfort, and productivity across a wide range of industries. We know our products inside out; we even build the machines that make them, and we take pride in the quality and innovation behind everything we do.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small but friendly Modules team. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to support with the production of high-quality bespoke matting products.
Key responsibilities:- Cut large rolls of carpet into strips according to precise size and length requirements
- Cut mats to specified linear metres, often working to short lead times
- Assemble sample presenter cases and maintain adequate sample stock levels
- Load and unload the mat annealing oven
- Roll and palletise matting products
- Produce specialist flooring products by following complex drawings and templates
- Weld modules using welding paste to customer specific requirements
- Manage stock levels and participate in stock takes
- Crimp mats using RF welding equipment to produce anti-fatigue modules
- Operate a wide range of machinery and tools, including robotic welders, granulators and cutting equipment
- Process PVC scrap through granulators for re-use, including colour separation and granulator clean-outs
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with all health and safety requirements
- Carry out ad hoc duties as required to support production
- GCSE Maths minimum grade 4
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
- Excellent attendance record
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a small team
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures closely
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
