We are live in private beta with 100,000+ people on the waitlist. Plasma One is built on the Plasma network, a blockchain designed from first principles for stablecoin payments. The Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the core product surfaces of Plasma One across mobile and web. This is a frontend role with real product and systems ownership. You will work mostly in React Native, React, and TypeScript, owning critical flows like onboarding, balances, transfers, card spend, yield, rewards, and transaction history. You should care deeply about frontend craft: state, performance, reliability, interaction detail, and how complex financial systems are represented clearly to users. You should also be comfortable working close to the backend, shaping APIs, understanding data models, and debugging the edge cases that appear when people are moving real money. You will help define frontend architecture, influence product decisions, and raise the quality bar across the app.

What You'll Do

• Build and own core product surfaces across React Native, React, and TypeScript.
• Ship high-trust financial flows including onboarding, balances, transfers, cards, yield, rewards, and transaction history.
• Design frontend architecture that scales across mobile and web without becoming slow, fragile, or hard to change.
• Own complex client-side state, async workflows, loading states, error handling, retries, and degraded states.
• Work closely with backend engineers on API design, integrations, and production debugging.
• Partner with design to turn complex flows into precise, simple, production-quality experiences.
• Set a high bar for frontend quality, testing, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Make Plasma One feel fast, clear, and dependable, even when the underlying systems are complex.

Who You Are

You are a senior, hands-on frontend engineer with strong experience shipping React and/or React Native applications in production. You write excellent TypeScript and care about clean, maintainable systems. You have strong instincts around state management, data flow, performance, and user experience. You can reason about complex systems and make them understandable through product and UI. You are comfortable working near the backend and contributing to API and system design when needed. You care deeply about design craft and have strong instincts around state management, data flow, performance, and user experience. You can own features end to end, from architecture and implementation to release and iteration. You are calm in ambiguity, direct in communication, and thoughtful about tradeoffs.

Nice to Have

• Experience building consumer fintech, payments, banking, crypto, or other high-trust products.
• Familiarity with money movement, cards, KYC, fraud, compliance, ledgers, or transaction history.
• Interest in stablecoins, crypto, or financial infrastructure.
• Experience working close to launch or scaling an early-stage consumer product.
