Distribution Sales Manager required for a global supplier of electronic and electro-mechanical components for industrial applications. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening and expanding the company’s product offerings across EMEA. You will lead their efforts to support industrial distributors across the region, ensuring their products are readily available to customers. This role involves managing the distribution team to drive business development with both new and existing regional distributors and subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the EMEA distribution sales strategy to achieve long-term growth aligned with corporate goals.
- Lead and manage the distribution team to establish and nurture relationships with key distributors, manage contracts, and develop business plans.
- Monitor key metrics and analyze data to measure performance, develop action plans, and provide regular forecasting.
- Set pricing policies in line with revenue and margin targets.
- Promote and train select distributors to maximize revenue and market share.
- Manage New Product Introductions (NPI) and oversee the product launch process for select distributors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate the total supply chain for distributors.
- Collect and share insights on market requirements and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical/electrical or electronic) or a business degree with significant experience.
- 10-15 years of sales and marketing experience in Business-to-Business key account management in an industrial environment, including 5 years of people management experience.
- Experience working with electrical / electronic / electro-mechanical products and industrial automation products is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with solid operational and technical backgrounds.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Europe, up to 50% of the time.
