Warehouse Scanning Assistant/Counterbalance Forklift driver

Our client, based in Tottenham, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Scanning Assistant with a Counterbalance Forklift driver licence to join their friendly team. We are looking for someone with experience working within a warehouse environment who holds a valid certificate for Counterbalance forklift by a recognised training body; we cannot accept in-house certificates. They are a busy mailing department, and you will be responsible for internal stock movement using a counterbalance forklift and powered pallet trucks. You will also be required to assist in the warehouse with picking and packing goods using scanners and computer systems. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is paramount along with a proven work history of using a forklift. Candidate requirements: * Counterbalance Forklift certificate and at least 3 years' experience * Experience operating a powered pump truck (PPT) and at least 3 years' experience * Able to work both independently and as part of the team * Able to use scanners * Good with computers and knowledge of in-house WMS systems * Great attention to details * Previous experience within a printing/mailing/warehouse environment * Be self-motivated and highly organised with good attention to detail * Be quality-conscious and efficient with good communication skills * Awareness of Health & Safety * Good level of English * Team player who works well with others * Committed and reliable * Must be physically fit as lifting will be involved * Must have safety shoes/boots and a hi-vis vest Shift: Monday to Friday 10.30am – 7pm Hourly rate £13.97 * 28 days annual leave inclusive of 8 bank holidays * Online payslips * Weekly pay * Pension Contribution This role is for immediate start and can be permanent, subject to a successful probation period
