Warehouse Operative

Our client, based in Grays, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to strengthen their friendly team.

We are seeking good all-rounders with some solid warehouse experience, you should have a minimum of one year’s current experience working in a warehouse and be fully aware of health and safety in this environment. We currently have opportunities for candidates in their coiling room as follows.
The role will consist of:
* Cutting and coiling various lengths of cable (special national contract)
* Picking and packing stock for customers
* Wrapping pallets
* General upkeep of warehouse and coiling room area
Skills / Requirements:
* Flexible, can-do attitude
* Reliable, hardworking and punctual
* Attention to detail
* Physically fit.
* Manual handling will be required
* Good standard of maths and English
PPE required – safety shoes and hi-vis vest – gloves provided upon request
Hours & Salary:
Monday – Friday, 08.00am – 17.00pm, 40 hours per week, closed bank holidays
Hourly pay rate £12.21
* 28 days Annual Leave inclusive of bank holidays
