Our client based in Rainham is seeking a skilled Reach Forklift driver with a valid Reach Truck certificate and experience working at 13-metre heights to join them on an ongoing basis.
We are looking for someone with experience working within a warehouse environment who holds a valid certificate for a Reach truck forklift by a recognised training body; we cannot accept in-house licences.
They are a busy distribution centre in Rainham and are seeking someone who can start immediately.
They are able to offer in-house training on Reach to someone who holds an expired certificate from a recognised body.
This is a very busy distribution centre, and the role will be a mix of forklift and warehouse duties therefore you will be expected to assist in other areas of the warehouse in addition to using forklift, duties will include use of fork truck for loading & unloading vehicles/containers, stacking of goods in warehouse, distribution of goods, manual stock control, picking and general warehouse duties as instructed.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is paramount, along with a proven work history of forklift use.
Requirements;
- Reach Forklift certificate
- Experience working at 13-metre heights
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
- Awareness of Health & Safety
- Good level of English
- Team player
- Committed and reliable
- Must be physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved
- Must have safety shoes/boots and hi-vis vest Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 17.00pm, Saturday 7.30-1pm Hourly rate £14 p/h Pension contribution 28 days' annual leave, inclusive of 8 bank holidays Ongoing assignment Weekly pay Online payslips Position for immediate start.
