We are looking for an experienced Exhibition Carpenter to join our client based in Orpington for a temporary project, producing and installing high-quality exhibition stands and bespoke display projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works well under pressure, and can deliver high standards to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Building exhibition stands, display units, and bespoke joinery items
  • Reading and working from technical drawings
  • Using workshop machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Assembly, fitting, and finishing work to a high standard
  • Assisting with installations and breakdowns when required
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Ensure all work practices and work areas adhere to Health & Safety legislation at all times
  • Supporting the wider team as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year previous carpentry experience ideally in exhibition carpentry
  • Effective communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Shift Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

Hourly pay rate: £15.75 - £18.00 dependent upon experience

  • Online payslips
  • Weekly pay
  • 28 days holiday pro rata (including 8 bank holidays)
  • Workplace pension contributions

This role is for immediate start and to offer support for 1 – 2 months to support with current projects. Due to high volume of applications, we will only contact suitable candidates.
