We have a fantastic opportunity to join our client based in Dartford, they are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Delivery Driver to support their team on their night shift.
Duties:
- Vehicle check to be conducted at start and end of shift
- Load / unload vehicle, ensure trailer emptied when back on site
- Multi-drop deliveries with a regular route to the same customers
- Any ad hoc duties required in the warehouse as requested at end of shift
- Create rapport with regular customers
- Use of computerised equipment and complete any necessary paperwork
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid, clean and in date Class 2 (Cat C) licence (for insurance purposes be over age 25).
- Must have Drivers CPC and Digi Taco card
- Must have a degree of physical fitness as there will be loading/unloading involved
- Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
- References required via 5 years checkable employment history
Candidate:
- Along with good knowledge of local and surrounding areas, as a Class 2 Driver, you will be personable, professional and able to create a rapport with customers and colleagues
- Good level of communication
- Smart appearance (working in their client’s premises)
- Physically fit, capable of loading/unloading vehicle and transferring stock at customer’s site
- Possess a positive friendly attitude
- Team player
Shift: Night shift hours are Monday to Friday, start time at 7pm, 9 hour shift
Annual salary: £49,385.96
