We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Garden Centre Plant Area Manager to oversee the management and presentation of our plant department. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of horticultural excellence, customer service, and merchandising within our centre. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, a passion for gardening, and excellent communication abilities in both English and Spanish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining an attractive plant display, managing stock levels, and leading a team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the plant area, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising to maximise sales.
- Oversee the organisation and presentation of plants, ensuring they are healthy, well-labelled, and attractively displayed.
- Provide expert advice to customers on gardening techniques, plant care, and horticultural products.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards within the plant department.
- Coordinate with suppliers for stock orders and deliveries, ensuring timely replenishment of popular items.
- Implement promotional activities and seasonal displays to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to minimise waste and optimise sales.

Experience
