Our client is a leading vehicle servicing and repairs company working predominantly within the fleet management sector. The company is expanding and offers a clear career path for ambitious individuals. The role is site based within their Croydon depot. There are overtime opportunities available. ROLE:

  • Communicate effectively with the admin team and customers to discuss required repairs.
  • Estimate repair timelines and provide accurate expectations.
  • Inspect vehicles thoroughly to diagnose necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform repairs or replace components as needed to ensure vehicles are in excellent working condition.
  • Conduct road tests to verify the quality of repair work or diagnose additional issues.
  • Carry out comprehensive vehicle system safety checks and servicing tasks.
  • Execute routine maintenance, including oil and air filter changes, brake replacements, clutch repairs, gearbox adjustments, suspension work, and diagnostics.

CANDIDATE:

  • Plant & Vehicle Fitting experience is required for this position.
  • Full valid Driving Licence with 6 points or less.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications.
  • Maintain any required professional qualifications.
  • Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
