Due to securing a significant amount of new work across the Home Counties, an established construction plant business is expanding its mobile engineering team. You will initially focus on planned maintenance and servicing, making this an excellent opportunity for a Plant Fitter who wants to strengthen their diagnostic skills and progress into a fully trained Plant Engineer. During your first year, you will receive structured in-house training covering diagnostics and more advanced repairs. Support is also available to progress towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification.
The Role
- Complete planned servicing and maintenance on construction plant
- Carry out machine inspections and identify developing defects
- Record findings and recommend any additional repair work
- Complete service reports and job documentation accurately
- Liaise professionally with customers and the internal service team
- Work independently across customer sites throughout the Home Counties
