Job Purpose
Working as part of the fast paced Hire Desk team, you will be the main point of contact for major account customers, you will be responsible for coordinating the ‘on hire and off hire’ process, from the customer request through to invoicing.
Main Responsibilities
- Arranging the hire contracts for equipment for bookings.
- Coordinate and liaise with Customers, Transport, Sales and the Workshop.
- Answer incoming queries via phone and email
- Monitoring and organising contracts and invoicing.
- Working with customers to develop relationships
- Checking availability of equipment and ensuring that details are accurate and up to date.
- Previous experience with managing multiple mailboxes.

Essential Requirements and qualifications
- Experience in plant hire or similar hire industry
- Experience of the Syrinx system is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
