Requirements

Your Impact

We are looking to bring onboard a Horticultural Technician to join our team in Birmingham, bringing your passion for plants, excellent customer service, and being hands-on in your role. This is a field-based, independent role where you will spend time on our client sites, carrying out plant maintenance, sharing your knowledge when it comes to caring for their variety of plants, and ensuring our clients’ displays always look their best.

Your role will encompass a huge amount of ownership as you cover four pillars to ensure success:

  • Plant maintenance
  • Customer management
  • Operational integrity
  • Reporting

Some additional aspects of your role will include:

  • Maintaining internal and external plant displays to a high standard at a variety of client sites
  • Completing site reporting and ensuring data integrity is maintained
  • Collaborating with your line manager on new ideas, feedback, challenges, and the mapping of visits to ensure smooth operations and delivery of customer satisfaction
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures
  • Providing the highest level of customer success. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will be their on-site point of contact, engaging, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction with their installation and the service

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Experience and/or knowledge of interior and/or exterior horticulture installations and maintenance
  • A passion for plants and a desire to forge a career in this space
  • Fantastic customer service skills. You enjoy connecting with people and ensuring that they experience success and satisfaction

  • The capability to navigate multiple sites in your designated region via a company van
  • A sharp eye for detail and embody ownership in what you do
  • Flexibility and the willingness to work varying hours, with early starts

Must haves:

  • A full UK driving license, and you are happy to utilise a company van
  • You must be based in or in close proximity to Birmingham
