The predicted salary is between 28500 - 35000 £ per year.
The Scheduler is responsible for planning the weekly and daily workload of the Field Maintenance Technicians. This includes a pro-active element, planning in the next week's work, and also a reactive element, planning in sickness cover, special visits, replacements etc. as the needs crop up.
You will work closely with both the Area Service Managers and the Field Technicians, and a clear head, proactive approach to solving problems, and the ability to work fast under pressure are essential attributes for this role.
Duties
- Proactively plan the following week's workload for the Techs you’re responsible for.
- Upload jobs to our field service system.
- Reactive planning – ensure any issues are resolved as fast as possible.
- Meet internal SLAs for response and solution delivery.
- Work closely with the team to help deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Be a point of contact for the Techs.
- Take a proactive approach to round optimisation and efficiency.
- Provide cover and support to other members of the Contract Admin team if required.
Requirements
- Strong IT and keyboard skills.
- A logical, data-driven approach to problem solving and planning.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities without getting fazed.
- Good people and communication skills.
- Able to withstand pressure and push-back from Field Technicians, and keep them to plan.
- Strong geographical awareness including towns/cities and road networks.
- Prior experience in route planning and reactive scheduling are a must.
