To help us continue expanding our offering, we are seeking a Business Analyst to drive seamless provider feed onboarding, system interoperability, and process automation to support our ambitious growth plans.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Plannr product team. In this role you will act as the bridge between customers, product, engineering, and stakeholders—translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support the ongoing development of the Plannr platform.

Experience as a Business Analyst is essential. Experience within financial planning, wealth management, or fintech is highly desirable.

Your Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements using appropriate techniques (workshops, interviews, user stories, process mapping)
• Work closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications
• Collaborate with financial advisers and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, compliance needs, and operational challenges
• Produce high-quality documentation including:
  • User stories and acceptance criteria
  • Functional and non-functional requirements
  • Process flows and data models
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release activities
• Validate solutions through user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure delivered outcomes meet business requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and product enhancement
• Assist with regulatory and compliance-related analysis where relevant to financial advice software
• Act as a subject matter liaison between business users and technical teams

Who We’re Looking For

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a software or technology environment
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications

Desirable Experience

• Experience in financial planning, wealth management, or fintech
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, workflow systems, or SaaS products
• Experience working with APIs, data integrations, or platform ecosystems
• Exposure to UX/UI collaboration and customer-centric product design
