My client is seeking an experienced and talented Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team, working on bespoke private residential projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative individual looking to develop a rewarding career within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will contribute to projects across all RIBA work stages, with a strong emphasis on high-quality construction detailing and technical delivery. You will be involved in a diverse portfolio including new-build homes, renovations, extensions, and heritage projects, often for private clients with high expectations for design and craftsmanship.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of post-qualification professional experience
  • Proven experience in residential technical detailing, ideally within high-end bespoke projects
  • Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction methods
  • Experience delivering projects across all RIBA work stages
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good understanding of building contracts and project delivery
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD is advantageous, though not essential (training can be provided)
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required
