Senior Architect – Data Centre / Mission Critical Location: London, UK | Type: Permanent | Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits
My client, a global leader in data centre and mission-critical design, is seeking Architects, Senior Architects, and Associate Architects to join their expanding design delivery team in London.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex hyperscale data centre projects within a highly respected, forward-thinking practice known for design excellence and technical innovation.
Responsibilities
- Leading architectural design on hyperscale data centre and mission-critical projects
- Driving design innovation through BIM and Revit-led workflows
- Delivering projects across RIBA Stages 2–6, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and digital design platforms
- Representing the practice at client meetings, design reviews, and technical workshops
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of design standards and processes
Requirements
- Chartered Architect (RIBA/ARB registered)
- 8+ years’ post-qualified experience, ideally within mission-critical, data centre, technology, or complex infrastructure projects
- Strong technical background with proven delivery experience
- Proficient in Revit, BIM, and digital coordination tools
- Confident communicator with client-facing experience
- Ability to lead projects and support junior team members
