My client, an award-winning architecture and sustainability practice based in London, is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their small, dynamic team. They specialise in residential and mixed-use developments, delivering design- and insight-led place-making for public and private sector clients.
The Role
- Lead projects from concept through completion, taking responsibility for design concepts and research (RIBA Stages 1β3) including sketching, diagrams, and sustainability-led strategies.
- Planning proposals and associated documentation.
- Project delivery and coordination across RIBA Stages 4β6, including low-carbon detailing and on-site administration.
- Supporting project bids and mentoring team members.
- Contributing to practice initiatives, exhibitions, and industry events.
Requirements
- ARB registered Architect with 10+ years UK experience post-Part 3, including 3+ years on-site.
- Experience across all RIBA stages, leading projects from commencement to completion.
- Proven ability to manage consultant teams (structural, MEP, specialist).
- Strong technical knowledge and job-running/site experience.
- Proficient in ArchiCAD 27, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent visual communication, presentation skills, and a proactive approach.
- Interest in sustainable design, technical detailing, and materiality.
