My client, an award-winning AJ100 architectural practice, is seeking an Architect / Architectural Technologist with 2+ years’ post-qualification experience to join their Winchester studio, working on bespoke high-end residential projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected, design‑led practice known for delivering beautifully crafted private residential schemes.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in residential technical detailing and a strong interest in bespoke residential architecture. You will contribute across a range of RIBA work stages and should have a good understanding of construction detailing, UK building regulations, and project delivery processes. The role would suit someone who is confident working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail. Experience using ArchiCAD would be advantageous, although full training can be provided. Previous experience in classical architecture is not essential; however, an appreciation and interest in traditional and classical design principles would be beneficial.

Key Requirements
  • 2+ years’ post‑qualification professional experience
  • Good technical knowledge of residential construction and detailing

  • Understanding of UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction methods
