About the Role

We are working with a well-established and highly regarded architectural practice seeking a talented Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke, high-end private residential projects across the UK. The role is suited to an ambitious and creative individual looking to build a long-term career within a practice known for delivering detailed, design-led schemes. You will be involved across all RIBA work stages, contributing to the design and technical delivery of unique residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to projects across all RIBA stages, from concept through to completion
  • Produce detailed technical drawings and high-quality design information
  • Develop and deliver bespoke residential schemes with a strong focus on detailing
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Work independently and take ownership of project elements when required
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

Requirements

  • Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience in residential architecture, ideally high-end or bespoke projects
  • Excellent knowledge of traditional technical detailing
  • Understanding of UK planning, building regulations, and construction methods
  • Experience delivering projects across all RIBA work stages
  • Strong design and technical ability with a keen eye for detail
  • Good communication skills and confidence working with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Practical, problem-solving mindset
  • Knowledge of building contracts
  • Willingness to travel within the UK
  • Experience using ArchiCAD is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
  • Interest in traditional or classical architecture is beneficial
