About the Role
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded architectural practice seeking a talented Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke, high-end private residential projects across the UK. You will be involved across all RIBA work stages, contributing to the design and technical delivery of unique residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to projects across all RIBA stages, from concept through to completion
- Produce detailed technical drawings and high-quality design information
- Develop and deliver bespoke residential schemes with a strong focus on detailing
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
- Work independently and take ownership of project elements when required
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
Requirements
- Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong experience in residential architecture, ideally high-end or bespoke projects
- Excellent knowledge of traditional technical detailing
- Understanding of UK planning, building regulations, and construction methods
- Experience delivering projects across all RIBA work stages
- Strong design and technical ability with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills and confidence working with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Practical, problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of building contracts
- Willingness to travel within the UK
- Experience using ArchiCAD is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
- Interest in traditional or classical architecture is beneficial
