My client is an award-winning chartered architectural practice, recognised for delivering high-quality projects across the education, residential, commercial, blue light, and industrial sectors. With studios located across the UK, they pride themselves on fostering a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic working environment. They are now seeking an experienced Architect or Architectural Technologist with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join their London studio.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing projects throughout the full construction lifecycle, coordinating teams across multiple stages of delivery while demonstrating strong technical and design capabilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects through various stages of the RIBA Plan of Work
  • Coordinate and oversee project teams and consultants throughout the construction lifecycle
  • Produce high-quality technical and construction information
  • Deliver projects through both traditional and design & build procurement routes
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for future business development
  • Ensure compliance with relevant contracts, regulations, and codes of practice
  • Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams across UK studios

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years’ post-qualification experience, including experience leading projects
  • Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist
  • Proficiency in Revit and NBS Chorus, with demonstrable capability across relevant software platforms
  • Strong technical knowledge and excellent design ability
  • Experience delivering projects through traditional and design & build procurement routes
  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, delegation, and people management abilities
  • Experience across all RIBA stages, including traditional contract administration, is desirable
  • Sound understanding of legal and regulatory requirements within the construction industry
