My client, a leading luxury interior design practice in London, is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Architect to lead high-end residential projects in prime locations such as Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, and Chelsea. This is a hands-on role for an all-rounder with strong technical skills, design flair, and the ability to manage teams, clients, consultants, and suppliers.
The Role
- Lead and oversee all architectural and technical aspects of luxury residential projects
- Manage project delivery from concept through construction, including joinery and FF&E packages
- Mentor and support junior team members, ensuring high-quality output
- Coordinate consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors, maintaining project budgets and schedules
- Deliver exceptional client service and maintain strong relationships for repeat business
Requirements
- Part III qualified with minimum 2 years’ experience in a London-based luxury studio
- Proven experience delivering projects with large FF&E budgets (£500k+)
- Expertise across all RIBA stages: concept, detail, design development, construction documents, and site supervision
- Hands-on experience in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office; InDesign and Photoshop preferred
- Strong knowledge of luxury interiors, joinery, materials, detailing, and UK building regulations
- Confident, proactive, and able to take full ownership of projects from start to finish
- Excellent communication skills and a professional client-facing manner
