My client, a London-based architecture studio, is seeking a technically skilled Architect, Senior Architect, or Associate Architect with a specialism in façade design and remedial projects to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across residential façade remediation, office retrofits, and master-planning schemes, taking projects from concept through to construction and completion.
The Role
- Lead and contribute to technical design and delivery of façade remedial projects, including fire-safety compliance initiatives
- Support and deliver new build, office retrofit, and master-planning schemes up to RIBA Stage 3–6
- Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and project documentation
- Act as or support the Building Regulations Principal Designer
- Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing across the studio
- Ensure projects meet UK Building Regulations, CDM requirements, and high technical standards
Skills & Experience
- ARB-registered Architect with 5–10 years’ post-Part 2 experience (ideally 5+ post-Part 3)
- Proven expertise in façade remediation, retrofit, and technical detailing
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, fire safety, and CDM duties
- Experience acting as or supporting a Principal Designer desirable
- Proficient in CAD, with BIM/Revit experience preferred
- Excellent communicator, confident with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects and teams
