An established UK architectural and design practice is seeking a Midweight Interior Designer/Interior Architect with
Cat A & B fit-out experience , to join its growing team.
Applications are also welcome from Architects with the same relevant project experience and a keen interest in interiors.
You’ll work across projects within the logistics, commercial interiors and healthcare sectors, taking schemes from initial concepts through to technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support
Cat A & B fit-out projects across multiple sectors.
- Interpret client briefs and develop creative, commercially considered design concepts.
- Produce and develop test-fits through the RIBA stages.
- Attend client, stakeholder and Design Team meetings.
- Undertake site visits, reviews and snagging.
- Develop technical information required to deliver designs successfully.
- Produce coordinated drawing and information packages, primarily using
Revit.
- Collaborate with internal visualisation, CGI and digital teams.
- Resolve design and on-site challenges with practical, buildable solutions.
- Work collaboratively within project teams while managing individual responsibilities and deadlines.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering commercial interiors and Cat A & B fit-out projects.
- Strong
Revit capability and experience using it on construction projects.
- Front-end design and concept development experience.
- Experience taking projects through technical and delivery stages.
- Strong understanding of commercial fit-out detailing and construction.
- Confident client, consultant and contractor communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within collaborative project teams.
- Strong drawing, presentation and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Sketch Up experience is advantageous but not essential.
